and so it continues…

Does the thought of this spiral moving outward
and inward move you?
Move you the way it does me?
I confess to the stress..
the holiday OMG!
the tension I feel every where as the world we know spins out of control.
But
I also hear a whisper
of the goodness and the strength that is
out there
in here.
Another person has come forward to add a gift to this
Circle of giving.
DEB, has offered up one of her Photo’s for our give away.
How incredible, and it has brought so much laughter and joy to my house hold.
to see that ripple
as it moves outward from where a single pebble was dropped.
Thank you…
all of you..
Those who share by doing
those who share by being
and those who spread the love, by spreading the word of this random act of kindness.
Thank you
all of you!

COOLNESS TO ADD TO “the Circle”

Oh
Oh Oh
I am so excited!
I have something really neat to share!!!
A wonderful lady I know through the world wide web, is donating a set of her books to the give away.
SERIOUSLY!
I have two of her books, and they are so wonderful!
and Firebyrd has read one of them, so I know she will back me when I tell you, that these are treasures!
She asked me to clear it past my kids first, so I did.
the teen was all Mr. Cool, and said ” sure, thats great.”
and the imp was ” Well isn’t that what giving is about? Spreading kindness? She just wants to be kind!”
So go check out this awesome lady
here at Bonesigh arts, and get excited, because her books are going to be extra light in that circle of LOVE!

THERE IS MORE!!!!!
Dearest Fire BYrd has added:
I can offer either a poem written especially for someone or a tarot reading or both for different people.
so we have one more gift to add from the world wide family!
Isn’t this great!!!!
can you see it?
it’s kindness…
and it’s spiraling outward!

The circle

The weekend was long and so busy.
I am sure most can relate, it’s that plethora of Autumn chores.
The raking leaves, the cleaning gutters, shoveling manure, turning under the garden, cutting, splitting and stacking firewood, putting up the last of the apples and pears, washing dogs, and all the general maintenance one does before settling in to a long winter.
Sunday night we sat in the deep woods around a bonfire,
sipping hot chocolate and red tea, talking.
Like the wisps of smoke our conversation wanders here and there.
The teen asks me ” Are we going to do that thing again this year?”
Considering we were just talking about the fact that money is super tight, and no one seems to be buying much, I have no idea what ‘thing’ he is talking about.
” What?” I ask him bemused as always at his railroad train of thought that I always seem to be left at the station..” What thing? bud, we don’t have the money for much, I know you wanted to go see the grandparents, but It’s just not going to happen.”
“yeah yeah yeah I know. it’s okay. No I meant the thing we did last year where we gave away all those gifts we made to people we don’t know. That Blog thing you did.”
The light bulb goes on..
” You want to do that again?” I ask him.
“heck yeah! that was great! I want to make something really cool this year!”
and then the little one who has been slurping down marshmallows chimes in ” Me too!”
” You too?” I ask.
” Yeah! we can make something together again! and do the hearts!” she starts, and once she gets started…well on and on she goes.
~smile~
Tonight , I get to tell you how grateful I am.
Gratitude,
for these kids , and for you, dear reader, who helps me in this global community teach my kids about giving.
Teach them to care about the world in which we live.
Show them the difference and give them the wonder of giving
simply for the sake of giving.
It’s simple, really.
My family is going to make gifts, and they are going to give them to you.
Any one of you. There are no strings attached. No need to do anything other than come back here the first week of December and leave your name in a comment.
We will put them in a bowl and the kids will pull a name for each gift , and it will be on it’s way…. Filled with love.
For those of you who participated last year and won something, my kids said ” Heck Yes they can play again!” and if you feel you don’t want to, perhaps you can put your name in and play secret santa, and if you should win again, we can send it to whomever you would like.
I want you to understand the tremendous gift YOU are giving me and mine. You are giving us the opportunity to give, and give with creativity and love, from our hearts. You are teaching my kids and I about the joy of spreading Love, for loves sake.
What an incredible gift.
Thank you…
If your interested, here are the posts from last year,
The idea and the gifts…
