In case you were wondering….
The bride came for a fitting again today, I met her at the door with a shovel and asked her if she wanted to go for a walk in the back yard…
She said “No.”
..
….
RATS!
Hey…she’s beginning to sound like the “Bride of Frankenstein”…
The next time, try a cross…and a little garlic…
I know that works on DRACULA!
Peace be with you, dear Sorrow.
Ron~
so is that REST IN PEACE?
yikes..
more like Old Doc frankenstein has ripped out my brain for ever saying yes to this nightmare in the first place…
LOL
ever see the movie “young Doctor Frankenstein?” I can here the horses now…
~smile~
thanks for the smiles my friend!

B-Byrd~ You know I have an Axe, now why didn’t I think of that??? Guess i am no authority!
Crap, I spit coffee over the ‘puter screen again. Good humor cures all.
Rosa~ sorry about the Coffee, humor is my sanity button, if it looks suspect, put the coffee down first!
LOL! Thanks for the visit!
( and I don’t feel guilty for my felonious thoughts! )
WOW! you guys sure are a blood thirsty LOT! LOL
Here I was feeling like I might have been just a tad on the crazy side for this VENT post of mine, and we have all kinds of suggestions for disposing of the body…
~chuckle~
Let me say, before i go in and write individual comments, that in all truth it’s not the Bride i want to off, it’s the groom. Whose opinions and demands I am becoming increasingly tired of. If I was doing this for pay, I would be okay with all of it, irritated but OKAY. The fact that this is a labor of Love that has eaten up weeks of my time , is what is really making me cross with his unreasonable demands.
K? Bride GOOD
Groom NOT GOOD.
Short and sweet
Well at least the bride knows she’ll have a wonderful dress though I feel the groom’s opinions should be kept out of it. What do men know about weddings!
Mig~ LOL, yeah well it’s hair pulling time..Now don’t go asking this bloke what men know about weddings, he’ll go off on how his opinion is just as (if not more) important as the brides, and how it has to be just “SO” and…oh don’t get me started!
Loved the toon but was curious as to what shovel you intended to use? Did you have a wood chipper nearby that you could have possibly pulled into service? This made me smile, chortle, snort, and just ROFLMAO - BIG TIME!
It’s nice to be back around on some level. Truly, I have missed your in-the-face writing and Bohemian spirit.
Blessings to you my sweet dear friend.
Hawk, Out!
HAWK~ good to see you fly boy! The shovel was the same one i used to dig myself a shallow grave..figured if i took us both out neither one would be in trouble with the future hubby…
lol
The key here is to meet her with a go-cup of tea, take her through the house, and have two shovels there in a prominent position…You take up one and go to work while she keeps you company. Most people will ask if they can help…?
Do you ’spose I have that manipulation thing down to a fine science yet? LOL!
Greenwoman~
OMG
You don’t ever have problems like this do you?
Holy cow! I laughed so hard at this I had tears running down my face!
Bless you for the laughter today!
Enreal~
picture me with my thumbs in my ears, my fingers waving back and forth , my tongue sticking out, and strange noises emanating from my mouth that sound a bit like PPPPHHHHHTTHHTTTHBBBBttttttt.
then see the laughter in my eyes!
subtle my big but.
A little REM for you Sis.
It will end soon. A little fairy told me. (no, it wasn’t my hairdresser) LOL.
xoxox
Brother dear, I am not counting days right now, It would scare me too much, but here is hoping it will be done and done with out shovels or blood shed!
((HUGS))
Lady Sorrow,
You could offer to make a matching article of clothing for the groom as well. Perhaps a tie or a cumberbund. The kind of something that while he’s trying it on you can pull on it cutting off his circulation. That way when his head turns purple and swells up like a balloon you can pop it with a big sewing needle. If the bride becomes distressed tell her you can do an alteration on it after her dress is finished. Just a thought.
Polar Love~The sad thing is the matching article of clothing I am making him doesn’t involve a noose.
but maybe i can spike his drink???
You poor thing! You need a hug. Virtual though it may be, it’s sincere. (((HUG)))
The bowl you made is gorgeous, fabulous, amazing and I absolutely adore it! I look at it everyday since it came and just smile at it’s beauty.
Nitebird~ I am so glad you like the bowl! and it arrived unbroken! Thanks for the cyber hug, I am getting that wild eyed look and am getting way to close to the wire….
Soon things will be back to normal…at least the normal craziness..eh?
Things have finally settled down for me..so far no company coming this week. So I am back to my normal craziness too.
Looking forward to hearing about the wedding when all is done.
Sending you “peace of heart” energies!
Gypsy~ Thanks for the light!
I can not wait to be done!
Gonna hang out the gone fishin sign and go out on my canoe for a couple of days!
Hiding? who me???

Soul pumpkin~ guess what? I didn’t have to! I have trained the 15 year old so well that the last visit he did it for me, and in such a nice way too!

I am so proud of that boy!
I honestly believe I hate weddings more so than funerals - I ain’t lying. . .Soooooooooo much hupla goes into wedding planning; I’m surprized any marriage is consecrated –oops I meant consummated the day or night of the vows (I certainly didn’t feel up to it, yet I did–started off the whole thing living a lie of sorts (”yeah it’s good,” –really meaning, “Just let me get some rest pleeeeeeeeze”). We can’t delay funerals for the sake of attire, etiquette, and so on. If the dress doesn’t look quite right, it stays. Point Blank.
Peace, Light and Love,
CordieB.
Cordie~ LORD woman! I no you will never ever ask me to make a wedding outfit for you! sounds like you have had enough BS to last a lifetime!
UPDATE~
Groom is behaving after teenager laid it all out. God love that child! He’s been taking notes from Mom way to long!
I am way to freaked out because i am no where near done and wedding is the 31st.

`chortle~
I am not sure how many folks even glance at my side bar. I have however had a lot of fun adding photo's for links to my favorite places.
*
( by the way, everything below the labyrinth shop is a link! please click on feed the hungry and give someone a meal!)
*
Makes it kinda tempting to see who is behind the photo...
I tried to add pages here, for those souls who had expressed an interest in what was cooking in my studio. Pages sucks, You can't add to pages, for each post you have to add a new page.

So I have made a new blog at Google-Blogger. ( and for those of you at blogger, switch to WP NOW! it's so much easier!) If you are curious and want to see what issues or art I am working through these days, please scroll down the icons until you get to the labyrinth. Then "CLICK"
You will end up at my Labyrinth studio...
Thanks for taking a minute to read this!
